"Conflicting Realities" by Buffalo-based artist Rahdne Zola was selected as the cover image for INTERSECTIONS & INEQUALITY, the annual Research Connections publication for the Consortium on Race, Gender, and Ethnicity, sponsored by the University of Maryland. The artwork was created in the summer of 2020 in response to the racial tension rippling through the United States in the wake of the murder of George Floyd.
The CRGE and the artist agreed that it was a fitting cover for the publication.
