Title
The Things You Can't Remember
Artist
Rahdne Zola
Medium
Painting - Alcohol Ink
Description
January 2021 - Memories return to us in fragments, in glimpses, and in no way do they surface in their entirety. The whole event or situation is elusive. They're right there, yet they're not, you can almost see them, but you can't. However long it takes, they just circle in the ether, in the periphery, and they remain as the things you can't remember.
This painting is comprised of alcohol ink on 74 lb Yupo.

This is beautiful, I love the colors. I look from one circle to the other, just like you jump from one thought to another sometimes in your head.
Rahdne Zola replied:
Kathrin, thank you for your observation on jumping thoughts and jumping from circle to circle. I am glad this speaks to you. In gratitude...

Lovely image, brilliant concept - those memories floating around, evading our reach. The stronger background colours evoke the frustration of being unable to catch them. I am fascinated by colours and the feelings they can convey. Would you like to follow me on facebook.com/msartbysarka or Instagram.com/ms_art_by_sarka?
Rahdne Zola replied:
Sarka, I appreciate your observation and interpretation of this piece. Like you, I am fascinated by colors, as well. In gratitude...
