05 June 2016 - Friends drift in and out of our lives, for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes we'll see them again, sometimes we won't, and sometimes when we least expect it, they resurface out of thin air. "The river flows, the memory knows, we'll hold them near. The thoughts you send, I'll be your friend, until the end."
This is a macro photograph of a decorative cake plate in front of a window. The pre-existing blue was enhanced in post-processing to give the appearance of a body of water. Photographed in my kitchen - Buffalo, New York
