Description
April 2020 - In mid-March, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the stay-at-home orders in place across the United States, I sensed the forthcoming darkness and despair. Like storm clouds rolling in, I watched and felt the shadows being cast over everything. I asked people to answer the questions: What brings you hope? What brings you peace? As I began to collect the answers, I knew there was something more here, and by April the threads were interweaving. I read the words. I wrote the words. I spoke the words. I touched the words. I arranged the words. I lived the words. When woven together, the words grew into a tapestry of Hope and Peace.
This collage is comprised of watercolor and acrylic paint and course molding paste on poster board.
